Welcome to Tucker Elementary School!

Dear Tucker Families,

We are PTO members and chairs of the Welcoming Committee, so we are here to welcome you to our community. Lindsay Bigby is Tucker parent of a 3rd grader, 1st grader as well as a pre-k-er. She has been on the PTO since 2021 and has a passion for bringing people together and advocating. Her favorite things about the Tucker community are the incredible families that make this community so strong, the deep passion and dedication of the staff, and the variety of social events the community builds so we can grow together. When not at Tucker, Lindsay is a full time mom, a huge Celtics fan, loves hosting moms nights, works as a psychotherapist, and loves to have dance parties in her car filled with kids.

Sybil Turk is a mom of a 1st grader. She joined the PTO’s DEIB Committee in 2024 and is excited to also get involved in other aspects of the PTO for the 2025-2026 school year. Her favorite things about the Tucker community are the dedicated teachers and staff, the families who have made it easy to feel like a part of the community, the kids and their different personalities, and the diversity that makes Tucker such a special place. Sybil is a social worker in the adoption and foster care field, and in her spare time enjoys parent playdates at playgrounds (kids are welcome too), even when it’s 11 degrees out, and being a Girl Scout Troop Leader.

Together, we are excited to welcome you to Tucker. In this packet you will find details we learned that we feel will be helpful to your start here. We would love to meet with you briefly at drop off or pick up (if that works for you) and introduce ourselves and be available to answer any questions you have that we as Tucker parents and Milton residents may be able to help with.
