Open House

The PTO will kick off the evening with updates and information on our annual fundraiser at 6:00 p.m. We invite all those new to Tucker, new to the fundraiser or interested in getting more involved in the PTO to attend.

At 6:30 p.m. we will kick off Open House in the gymnasium with a few important school-wide announcements as well as an overview of the evening. There will then be two opportunities to visit classrooms throughout the evening.

Open House is always a great night to leave a special note or treat for your child. The Fifth grade committee will also once again be selling small gift bags and bookmarks with timers! Tucker gear will also be available for purchase. All families are also invited to visit our new art and music room as well as check out our growing lost and found!

5th Grade Fundraising Outing Planning Meeting

Dear 5th Grade Parents -

Please join us on Thursday, February 28th at 7:30pm in the Tucker School Library.  Heidi Schleicher (mom of Colby Schleicher) and Kerry Brown (mom of Colin Brown), the 5th Grade Committee Co-Chairs, would like to first, introduce themselves (if you do not know them), give you a quick overview of the different events/activities that take place for 5th graders, and offer you the opportunity to engage in making the last few months of your child's time at Tucker unforgettable.  You have already seen information on the 5th Grade Fundraiser that we have started to plan - the Cornhole Tournament at Steel & Rye

The goal is to put all of our efforts into this fundraiser so we do not have to entertain car washes and bake sales.  What is the goal of the fundraising?  That will be addressed at the meeting, but, a quick list is yearbooks, class t-shirts, step up celebration, talent show and goody bags.  The hope is you will come to the meeting or reach out to the 5th Grade Co-Chairs (Kerry - khurley15@gmail.com or Heidi - heidischleicher@hotmail.com) to see how you can contribute.

It is going to take each and every family to get us to our goal!  Thank you and hope to see you on February 28th!
